Anker 341 USB-C Hub: HDMI, Ports & Charging Guide

The Anker 341 USB-C Hub is a compact option for adding one HDMI display, USB accessories and memory-card access to a compatible laptop. Check your laptop’s USB-C capabilities before ordering: the shape of the connector alone does not establish display or charging support.

This guide covers model A8346 using Anker’s documentation and a checked Amazon listing. It is a research-based buying guide, not a hands-on performance or temperature test.

Start with your display requirements

The 341 has one HDMI output. Its USB-C connections do not provide display output, including through a USB-C-to-HDMI or DisplayPort cable. If your plan depends on a USB-C monitor, multiple monitor connections or 4K at 60 Hz, compare another product against those requirements.

Read your laptop’s port documentation as well as the hub’s specification. Check that the chosen laptop port supports the display connection you intend to use. A generic compatibility list cannot replace the details for your particular computer, monitor and cable.

Check charging separately from the port count

Anker’s current product page advertises up to 85 W of laptop charging with a 100 W Power Delivery charger and cable. A compatible charger is an additional requirement; check the offer’s contents rather than assuming one is included.

There is a documentation difference worth checking if power is critical: the older manual linked on Anker’s page describes 77 W to the laptop from a 100 W charger. Confirm the supplied revision and expected output with Anker before choosing it for a laptop that needs power close to these limits. This guide does not promise a sustained charging rate.

Write down your laptop’s usual power requirement and the equipment you intend to connect. Compare the complete purchase cost, including any charger, cable or adapter, rather than the hub price alone.

When does this hub make sense?

Shortlist the 341 if your requirements match its actual connections and you value a compact accessory you can move between desks. It does not include Ethernet. If you need wired networking or a more permanent display setup, compare our USB-C docking station guide.

For storage-heavy work, clarify the USB-C data specification before ordering. Anker’s specification table and marketing text state different USB-C speeds. This guide therefore does not assign a tested USB-C transfer rate. Check the exact revision instead of treating every USB-C socket as equivalent.

Make a short compatibility checklist

  • Identify your laptop model and the specific USB-C port you will use.
  • Record your monitor’s required connection, resolution and refresh rate.
  • Count the USB devices and memory cards you need to connect.
  • Check the laptop charger, cable and the selected offer’s contents.
  • Read the seller’s condition and return terms before paying.
